Hawaii was on our bucket list and we had the time for 16 days. Cruise featured chaos at embarkcation and 3 1/2 hour delay in leaving SAN. During cruise ship had a partial power black out, a false evacuation announcement, elevator shut down, a broken bow line at port, and corridors with power scooters blocking fire doors.

Rolling Stone Rock Room is a classic rock club (via partnership with Rolling Stone Magazine) where are offered live 5-piece band performances. Onboard live musical entertainment is concentrated in the Music Walk area (forward-midship on Plaza Deck 2) housing the music-themed venues Lincoln Center Stage & B.B. These are reservations-only events (90 min sessions, $129 cover charge) with sommelier service. The BLEND venue is via partnership with the winemaker Chateau Ste Michelle Winery (Woodinville Washington). Wine-tasting events are seminar-like (led by a wine expert). Each session includes a sampling of 5 red wines (single-vineyard) later combined with different vintages into a personal blend. After the event, you can bottle and take your newly created wine and consume it at the ship’s restaurants or in the stateroom.

A flat-screen TV offers an impressive selection of movies on demand and numerous TV channels including MSNBC, Fox News, BBC and ESPN. (What the TV does not have is the ability to check your account or book restaurants.) There is a writing desk/vanity and two bedside tables. All standard cabins have two wardrobes with plenty of hanging and drawer space; some of the suites and family cabins have three wardrobes. High beds offer space underneath for storing suitcases and an additional two drawers for extra duvets. Two cupboards above the sofa house lifejackets and extra blankets.
Good cruise, however the Lido buffet was a scrum, there was no self service and had to join long queues for food. I appreciate this was for hygiene reasons but could be inproved and tea and coffee in cabin would be nice. All cabins have multiple power ports in both European and U.S.-style sockets (three above the desk and two on either side of the bed, including USB ports).
